Kindness Camp

Imagine a camp where your kids learn more about KINDNESS.

Kids who care can change the world!

What's the best thing you can give your kids?

How about kindness?

That's right—in an unkind world, giving our kids the tools to show up better is what we need to do now more than ever. And that's exactly what this camp is all about!

We know that the world can be a tough place for kids. The meanness and bullying can really get to them—you know it's true because you've seen it happen to your kids! In fact, your kiddo might be having a hard time dealing with the bullying at school right now.

This camp is for girls in 4th-6th grades. Learning these skills at this age will prepare them for junior high amd beyond. Can you imagine what it would be like to go to junior high knowing how to speak up for yourself and actually like yourself? We teach those skills and more to empower your daughter to be a leader in kindness.

Why YOUR kid should join Annie Joy's Kindness Camp

Each day will focus on a different aspect of kindness and how to use it in daily life.

The activities are designed to be engaging, simple, repeatable, and high-impact. Your kids will have fun while learning important lessons about empathy, communication skills, confidence, and more.

It has been amazing to see my child grow in social and emotional skills. It’s taught in a way that is age appropriate and the changes have lasted after camp was over. We loved it and would do it again.

My child thought that it was pretty cool being able to talk with other kids that have a hard time processing feelings.

She remembered the story that was read each day and was able to tell me the story and why it was important. She also LOVED the “ plant experience” that showed the effects of bullying.

Investing in our kid's self-awareness, attitudes and behaviors is worth the time and effort and this camp is a fun way to learn to be more kind.

"I want to thank you so much. You were really inspirational and you have made my life better and easier. Thank you for sharing your awesomeness!"

Schedule for the Week

We're not talking about just any old summer camp. We're talking about a summer camp that's going to change their life and the world. Your kids will learn how to be kind through fun activities and exercises that help them discover their core values, build emotional resilience, speak up for themselves and others when they need it most, stand up to bullies when necessary, and cultivate kind classrooms and communities—all while becoming leaders who can change the world.

DAY 1

Confidence

They'll come home with new skills that they can use at school, at home, and even in their relationships all year long. And they'll have a whole new level of confidence that will last them well into adulthood.

DAY 2

Emotional Resilience

Understanding the skills to identify express their thoughts and feelings will help your children build a foundation for conflict resolution in their relationships. We will cover how to be aware of emotions and how to cope healthily.

DAY 3

Communication

Sometimes, kids don’t have the words to express how they feel and may act out these feelings in ways that are problematic. We’ll review what we learned about thoughts and feelings and how to communicate those to others.

DAY 4

Teamwork

Working as a team is a skill they will need for the rest of their lives! We teach the beginning skills of how to work together, how to listen to other's ideas, and how to communicate as a partner. Part of being a good teammate is accepting those that are different. They will complete fun activities as a team.

DAY 5

Service

It’s not just about learning kindness; it’s about practicing it too. Serving others teaches kids to be kind towards themselves, their peers, teachers and adults, and others in their community. And when they learn to be kind—to themselves and others—they're better equipped for life. For the final day of camp we will complete a service project together.
